BIOGRAPHY
Stephen Weller is an accomplished Operational Excellence Leader, Facilitator, and Consultant with over 15 years experience deploying both Lean Production Lean Management Systems. Since 2010 Stephen specialized in deploying Lean Systems in healthcare, primarily in the Perioperative Space. He has been a plant Lean Manager for two manufacturing facilities and has served 14 years in direct leadership positions. His projects have achieved several million dollars in improvements related to increased revenue & productivity, cost reductions, enhanced quality & safety, and improved cash flows.
The Progressive Machine: Before We Called It Lean is Stephen’s debut book.
HOBBIES
When not working on his next book, he enjoys spending time visiting old book stores looking for historical treasures. On vacation, Stephen relaxes with his family at a beach or he will visit his boyhood home of Albuquerque, New Mexico consuming green chilies while enjoying the beautiful views of the Sandia Mountains.
